Must I have a paper ballot to vote?
No. You can visit a Voting Service Center to cast your ballot with a valid ID.
We strongly suggest you verify that you are a registered voter and you view your ballot before casting your vote. Visit the Office of Elections at www.elections.hawaii.gov.
View your ballot to educate yourself with the candidates who are specific to your district.
If I cast/mailed my ballot, can I get it back to change who I voted for?
No. Once your ballot is cast or mailed you can not retrieve or vote again. If you have any more questions regarding this matter, please call the Office of Elections at 808 453 VOTE.
Can I register online?
Yes, if you have a Hawaii Driver's License. Register online now!
If your ID is from out of state you must use the paper registration form. Deadlines for registration can be found online at www.elections.hawaii.gov
What do I do with a ballot that comes to our residence for someone who has died years before?
The Ballot provides instructions on returning the ballot to the Office of Elections.
If I don't vote in a race, does that spoil my ballot?
No
If I don't answer all the Charter Questions, does that spoil my ballot?
No. You may answer all or any amount you choose to.
Do I have to vote for three (3) candidates in the OHA race?
You may cast your vote for all 3, for two or one. The power of your vote is greater when it is applied to less than three (3).
If I made a mistake or error on my ballot, what can I do?
Request a replacement ballot from the Office Of Elections 808 453 VOTE.
